Martin Koreck is the Secretary of the Committee on Agriculture and Environment in the National Council of the Slovak Republic. Previously, he was Environmental and Energy Advisor at the Chancellery of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, where he advisds the Environmental, Agricultural and Economical committees, handled public relations, and monitored the political situation in the Slovak Republic and EU. Koreck has also worked at the Heineken Slovakia Brewery as the Energy and Environment Manager, where he was in charge of product cycle management and energy saving projects. He interned at the Student Conservation Association in Washington, DC, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic, and at the UN Development Program in Bratislava, Slovakia. Koreck has a degree in Forest Management from the Technical University in Zvolen, Slovakia, and a master’s degree in Environmental policy from Wageningen University, the Netherlands.
