Agata Hinc is Communications Manager at Shell Poland, in charge of the company's external strategy and communications in the country. She has previously worked at demosEUROPA – Centre for European Strategy, a European policy think tank based in Warsaw, where she went through different roles as general manager, project leader as well as analyst since 2007. Agata has a solid communication expertise and good track record in the field of stakeholder engagement, working with high-level officials, media as well as non-governmental sector, business and academia. Her area of expertise is energy and climate policy. She has a significant list of own energy-related publications, including: "EU cannot tackle climate change without gas" (with Brian Marrs), Financial Times, 2013; "CCS in Europe – the way forward", demosEUROPA, 2012; "An External Energy Strategy for the EU" (with Sami Andoura), Think Global Act European, Notre Europe, 2011; "Can the EU Budget Support Climate Policy in Central and Eastern Europe?" (with Tomas Spencer, Anna Korppoo), Finnish Institute of International Affairs, 2011. She holds MSc in European Studies from the University of Warsaw.
