Luca Palazzotto is an environmental engineer, specializing in water quality and management. He currently works as Specialist Master on the World Bank Water and Sanitations Program contract for Deloitte Consulting in Arlington, VA. Recently he has also served as a Senior Water Security Advisor for IRIS Group International, a Water Security Consultant for Tetra Tech ARD and the Vice President of Institutional Development and Sector Governance at Consilium Group Advisors in the Washington DC-area. His past experience includes working for UNICEF in the Les Palmes region of Haiti as an Emergency Water and Sanitation Specialist, for the International Committee of the Red Cross in Chad and South Darfur as Head of Water and Habitat Department, for Oxfam GB in Georgetown, Guyana as a Project Coordinator, for the Environment Agency as a Project Manager for Flood Risk Management in Hatfield, United Kingdom. In addition, he has professional experience in Ecuador, Kosovo, Italy, and France. He received his BSc and MSc in Environmental Engineering at Politecnico in Milan, Italy and speaks Italian, English, French and Spanish.
