Having studied law and political science at universities in Lausanne (Switzerland), Paris, (France), Passau and Berlin (Germany), Anja Wehler‐Schoeck earned an M.A. in Political Science from both the Institut d'Etudes Politiques Paris, France, and the Free University Berlin, Germany.  Since 2005 she works for the German non-­profit organization Friedrich Ebert Foundation at their Berlin headquarters, where she has covered fields ranging from legal and economic policy to gender and youth policy.  Currently, she is in charge of dialogue with the United States, Canada and Japan, focusing among other issues on foreign and security policy, energy and climate, economic policy and gender issues.  Anja Wehler-­Schoeck has served as a lecturer in the fields of international relations and gender policy at the Otto Suhr Institute of the Free University of Berlin, Germany.  She is currently pursuing a part-­time MBA at the Isenberg School of Management at UMASS Amherst.
