Brad Wilkins is the design performance leader for the Shanghai office of Gensler. Brad is an architect specializing in the design of energy-efficient skyscrapers. The work he has done with his colleagues has won over 100 International design awards. And buildings and projects for which Brad has had design responsibility are located in Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. Brad trained under Adrian Smith at SOM and ASGG where he developed a design specialty for Megatall Skyscrapers, of a height exceeding 600 meters, including residential, office, hotel and Mixed-use Skyscrapers. His experience includes working on projects in over 20 countries and on over 50 skyscraper designs including the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. His first seminal tall project for which he had design responsibility is the Pearl River Tower in Guangzhou, China (with Gordon Gill and Jeff Stafford at SOM) which is the world’s most energy-efficient skyscraper. Brad has a Master in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Utah.
