Deirdre Lizio is the Head of Operations at Holstee, a sustainable product design company based in New York City. Prior to Holstee, she was the Manager of Sustainability Services at the Pratt Center for Community Development in Brooklyn, New York where she oversaw citywide projects related to building energy efficiency and urban manufacturing. Deirdre spent a year working in Germany with Deutsche Bank Research and the Carbon Disclosure Project as a Robert Bosch Foundation Fellow, and several years developing and scaling program and business operations at start-up companies in the education and responsible investment sectors. Deirdre holds a B.A. from Eugene Lang College in Urban Studies and an interdisciplinary Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development from NYU Gallatin. She was born and raised in the South End of Boston.
