Deric Gruen is a public policy and management consultant and a Fellow at the Sightline Institute, a sustainability think-tank, and University of Washington Center for Communications and Civic Engagement. He has worked at the intersection of equity, environment, and community development for Front and Centered, the White Center Community Development Association, the City of Seattle and more. He was the first Sustainability Director for Bellevue College, which he led to the national climate leadership award, and was individually recognized with the Governor's Commute Smart Award for his leadership. He is an alumni of the Emerging Leaders in Environmental and Energy Policy network (ELEEP) a transatlantic program of Ecologic Institute and Atlantic Council.
