Joanna Kaminska works as a Policy Advisor at the Committee on Foreign Affairs in the European Parliament, where she advises the Members of the European Parliament on the Common Foreign and Security Policy of the EU, energy security and climate change. Prior to joining the European Parliament, she was working as a Policy Coordinator in the Secretariat General of the European Commission where she was responsible for the reform of the evidence-based decision-making system and development of the evaluation methodology in the area of external relations.

Joanna is also a Senior Research Associate at the Institute for European Studies at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (IES-VUB) and holds a PhD from University of London, Royal Holloway College. Her last book published with Palgrave Macmillan in 2014 is entitled Poland and the EU Enlargement: Foreign Policy in Transformation.
