Lorenzo is a research scientist at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, where he focuses on advanced electrodes and electrolytes for next generation batteries. He has authored several peer-reviewed papers on the subject, including two review articles and a book chapter. He holds a BSc in chemistry from the University of Rome and a Master’s in nanotechnology enterprise from the University of Cambridge. He has made brief research stays at the Nokia Research Centre in Cambridge (UK), at the Centro Ricerche ENEA Casaccia (Italy) and at the University of Aveiro (Portugal). Lorenzo is a regular science contributor for an online magazine as well as for LSDP, an Italian think tank; he has presented his work in academic and industrial conferences in Germany, Italy and Israel.
