Paul Fleming has been the Manager of Climate and Sustainability at Seattle Public Utilities since January 2006. In this role he is responsible for developing and implementing Seattle Public Utilities' climate change program for the department's water, drainage, wastewater and solid waste utilities. Previously, he was the Strategic Advisor at Seattle Public Utilities for nine years, where he was responsible for the organization’s legislative strategy. He directed staff, lobbyists and City legal staff, and testified before House and Senate Committees. Paul received an MBA from the University of Washington, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Duke University.
