In 2010, Raphael co-founded Carbon Lighthouse, where he is responsible for corporate finance, long-term planning, and operations strategy. Raphael streamlined Carbon Lighthouse’s operational processes for medium-sized commercial and industrial facilities, making it possible to deliver high-quality, custom, and profitable projects to those markets. Previously, Raphael served as Vice President of Corporate Development at Safari Energy, a leading commercial-scale solar energy developer in New York. Raphael launched and managed multiple divisions and grew Safari’s operational capacity from two small projects annually to more than 25 solar projects worth $24 million. He holds a Masters in Physics from the University of Cambridge, England, and a B.A from Harvard University in History and Science (Physics).
