ELEEP AT COP21: "POST-CARBON CITIES AS DRIVERS FOR DECARBONISATION

Cities are at the forefront of the global carbon revolution, breaking established structures and creating new models for integrated systems. Together with the EU research project Post-Carbon Cities of Tomorrow (POCACITO), ELEEP co-hosted an official side-event at COP21 in Paris to discuss the role cities play as catalysts in the global transformation to a post-carbon society.

ELEEP Policy Recommendations for Renewable Energy and Climate Change

Eleven ELEEP Members attended a study tour on renewable energy and climate change policies, traveling to Poland and Germany from 10 to 15 November 2013. Meetings were held in Warsaw, Berlin, and Hamburg, with Members meeting with researchers, climate policy negotiators, renewable energy project developers and more.

ELEEP Policy Recommendations for the Water-Energy-Climate Nexus

From 7 until 12 July 2013, ten members of the ELEEP Network took part in a study tour on the Energy-Water-Climate Change Nexus in the American Southwest. During the tour, ELEEP Members traveled to New Mexico (Santa Fe and Albuquerque), Arizona (Phoenix and Flagstaff), and Nevada (Hoover Dam and Las Vegas).
