Ásbjörg Kristinsdóttir recently completed her Ph.D. at MIT’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Sloan School of Management. Her research field was engineering and management, with a focus on risk management and decision making for new power plant development projects. Previously, she was an Intern at Leaders for Global Operations at Amgen Inc. in Puerto Rico and an Assistant Project Engineer at the National Power Company in Iceland. She received her MBA and M.Sc. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from MIT and her B.Sc. in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Iceland.
